We have recently started shooting a few different venues of Handgun competition. We are shooting ICORE, USPSA, and Steel Challenge at our local range in San Luis Obispo. When Alden isn’t shooting with me, he shoots .22 rifle at the Junior Bullseye shoots and also he is going for his Master classification in NRA light rifle.

I am mainly concentrating on revolver shooting while AJ is finding the auto’s more to his liking. I still have yet to finish better than mid pack, but Alden has won a couple of the junior rifle shoots and still finishes well up against the adults.

Our man concern here has been and will always be SAFETY!!! Having a great time will usually follow if all the safety rules have been followed. I will post a few pictures here, and on Aldens pages, of our shooting. Hopefully here I can also post a few more things in the WIN column.

We have a great time at the range; competing, learning, and just talking to each other.
